Make a Ribbon Crisscross Lampshade - FuzzyFabric.com

Basic home accessories using ribbons.

Materials:

1. Lampshade (Shade height 9”) 
2. Orange & Aqua Satin Ribbons (10 Yards * 5/8 Inch) (Ribbon Supplier - Fuzzyfabric.com)
3. Tape Measure & Pencil 
4. Hot-glue Gun & Sticks 

Follow Steps:

1. Spot one-inch intervals around the top of the shade with a pencil.
2. Slice the orange and aqua satin ribbons into 34 10-1/2" strips.
3. At each pencil marking, put an orange ribbon strip crosswise. This should go away about 3/8 inches between ribbon strips. Hold in place temporarily with straight pins.
4. Hot-glue ribbon ends to the inside top and bottom of the shade.
5. After that, attach and weave aqua ribbon strips crosswise in the opposite direction so that they weave through the already secured orange strips.
6. Each aqua ribbon should weave in and out of 3 orange strips. Hot glue ends inside the top and bottom of the shade.
7. Repeat until covered.
